1.Using a smartphone<\/span><\/strong>
There are several methods you can follow to get plot coordinates with either an Android or iOS smartphone. Here are two common ways. <\/p>

A. Using Google Maps (Android and iPhone)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

1. Open the Google Maps app on your smartphone.
2. Find your plot: If the app situates you on the plot, you can enable the geolocation feature (the target icon at bottom right) to recenter the map on your position. If you are not on the plot, you can use the search bar to look for the location.
3. Long-tap the exact location of the plot on the map. That will drop a red pin marker.
4. A window will appear at the bottom of the screen giving information on the pinned location. Swipe upwards to expand this window.
5. You will see the GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) displayed under the location name (in a format that looks something like \u201c48.8566, 2.3522\u201d for example).
6. Copy the coordinates and keep them where you can find them, ready to send or insert into a document. <\/p>

B. Using a GPS location app<\/strong><\/span>
You can also use a purpose-designed GPS location app like \u201cGPS Status\u201d or another GPS coordinates app.<\/p>

1. Download a free GPS app from Google Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
2. Open the app and authorise geolocation features.
3. Wait for the app to calculate your exact position (the app will display the latitude and longitude coordinates).
4. Write down or copy the GPS coordinates to use or share them.<\/p>

2. Using a PC<\/strong><\/span><\/p>

You can also find and get the GPS coordinates of a vineyard plot using Google Maps on a PC.<\/p>

A. Google Maps on PC<\/strong><\/span>
1. Open Google Maps (https:\/\/maps.google.com) in your browser.
2. Find your plot: Go into the search bar and enter the address or nearest named place to your vineyard plot. Alternatively, you can browse the map manually.
3. Once on the target zone, right-click on the exact location of your plot.
4. A dropdown menu will appear. Select \u201cWhat\u2019s here?\u201d.
5. There will be a small information window that opens at the bottom of the screen. This window gives you the GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the location you pinned.
6. Just copy the coordinates and use them however you like (in a document, or send them by email, etc.). <\/p>

B. Other online tools<\/strong><\/span>
1. Another option is to use specialised websites such as GPS Coordinates.
2. Just open the website, navigate the map to the precise location of your plot, then click on the map to find the GPS coordinates.
3. The coordinates will come up automatically at the top of the web page, where you can simply copy them. <\/p>

Pointers <\/strong><\/span>
Make sure your phone\u2019s GPS location setting is turned on and that you have good network coverage to get more precise GPS coordinates.
